After a fantastic entrée at the French Film Festival, we're excited to share The Kitchen Brigade, the follow-up movie to Louis-Julien Petit’s box-office hit, Invisible is a heartwarming, feel-good social comedy.
Cathy, a headstrong 40-year-old sous-chef is finally about to fulfil her lifelong dream by opening her gastronomic restaurant. But nothing goes as planned. Facing serious financial difficulties, she reluctantly accepts a job in the cafeteria of a shelter for young migrants, run by Lorenzo (François Cluzet, The Intouchables). While she’s frustrated by her new position, Cathy’s skills and passion for cuisine start to change the kids’ lives. And they also have a lot to teach her...
Critics are saying... "A gentle testament to the best of the human spirit and to the power of listening and accepting and getting on with doing whatever we can, The Kitchen Brigade takes on a very real and all-too-common story with a light and engaging touch." BMA Magazine
"Exploring the world of French gastronomy, “The Kitchen Brigade” tackles the issues of social justice and inclusion." Variety
