The 25th annual Revelation Perth International Film Festival returns from 7-17 July presenting the most comprehensive annual survey of international independent cinema seen in WA. Featuring independent filmmakers from across the globe and from around the corner, Revelation features works drawn directly from the international film festival scene including award winners direct from Berlin, Rotterdam, Cannes, Sundance, Toronto and others for your viewing pleasure.
The lovingly-curated program of documentaries, award-winning features and short films is set to delight and inspire even the most discerning cinephile and represents a highlight on the WA film and cultural calendar.
Since 1997, REV has developed a reputation as Australia’s leading independent screen event and continues to actively advocate for Australian screen culture and independent practice. Today, the event includes over 200 international and Australian films presented at cinemas across Perth. In addition, a streaming service with over 300 films ready to view, an XR conference and the annual WA Screen Culture Awards.
