Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, and Leslie Manville star in a gripping drama directed by Thomas Bezucha (The Family Stone), based on the novel by Larry Watson.

Margaret and George Blackledge (Lane, Costner) are still grappling with the accidental death of their son when their daughter-in-law and mother to their grandson, Lorna (Kayli Carter), decides to remarry. When Lorna and her new husband suddenly disappear without warning, Margaret and George set-off to find their grandson. Descending into the remote midwest, the couple soon discovers that Lorna is now living with the Weboy clan - a family that has a stronghold upon the local townsfolk, led by matriarch Blanche Weboy (Manville).

Co-starring Booboo Stewart, Jeffery Donovan and Australian actor, Adam Stafford.
