Luna Outdoor Event: Marty Supreme

The evening will feature RTRFM DJ, ping-pong action to keep you on your toes, $12 Tom Collins from the bar, themed choc bombs and complimentary bites from Grill’d and Lima Cantina*, all set beneath the stars in the Luna Outdoor.

One of the most anticipated films of the Summer, Marty Supreme is the latest collaboration from powerhouse studio A24 and director Josh Safdie (Uncut Gems, Good Time). The film follows Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet), a young ping pong prodigy in 1950s New York City, on his relentless quest to prove himself as the best table tennis player in the world. Inspired by real-life pro Marty Reisman—known as “the Needle” for his lithe build and signature hardbat style—the story blends thrilling sport sequences with personal triumphs and heartbreak.

Chalamet leads an all-star cast including Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow in her first major role since 2019, Fran Drescher, and Tyler Okonma (Tyler, the Creator) in his film debut. With its vibrant period detail, exhilarating ping pong action, and the Safdies’ trademark energy, Marty Supreme is an epic sports drama that promises to dazzle both fans of cinema and lovers of the game alike.
