Synopsis

New Year’s Eve, 1999… the last party of the century! Directed by Kathryn Bigelow and written by James Cameron, Strange Days is a sci-fi action thriller, set before the new millennium where memories are recorded and sold like drugs. Ralph Fiennes is the “Santa Claus of the subconscious,” Angela Bassett is a pistol-packing bodyguard that says the line Fatboy Slim sampled ("Right here, right now"), and Juliette Lewis sings a PJ Harvey song. Essential cyberpunk cinema.
