HAUNTING AT LUNA LEEDERVILLE
OPENING NIGHT YULE
Thurs April 30
Arrivals 6:00pm for 6:30pm Session

Haunted by his mother’s violent childhood death and the looming end of his bestselling Conquistador trilogy, cantankerous author Ohm Bauman (Adam Scott) seeks closure by scattering his parents’ ashes at the remote Irish inn where they honeymooned. Arriving on Halloween weekend, he finds Bilberry Woods Inn populated by eccentric guests and staff who share one strict rule: the Honeymoon Suite stays locked (or so goes the legend) to keep an ancient witch imprisoned inside.

When the search for a missing staffer leads to Ohm being trapped in the Suite as Bilberry Woods closes for the season, he must escape before the Witch (and other hotel happenings) makes him a permanent guest.

From director Damian McCarthy (Oddity, Caveat), Hokum premiered at SXSW 2026 to rave reviews, heralding it as a terrifying contender for "the Best Horror Movie of 2026." (Inverse)

Screening at Luna Leederville from April 30.

Damian McCarthy is the new king of horror... The scares in Hokum had me howling, jumping, and desperate to cover my eyes.
Mashable
Gratuitously frightening... for horror fans with a penchant for classical, gothic scares.
Dread Central
Damian McCarthy’s bone-chilling ghost movie that was easily one of the best films to premiere at this year’s SXSW festival.
Inverse
Adam Scott delivers a career-best performance.
