Army of Darkness continues the adventures of Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell), a wisecracking S-Mart employee who is transported back to the Middle Ages after battling demonic forces in a remote cabin in the events of Evil Dead II. Armed with his chainsaw hand and "boomstick," Ash must retrieve the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead) to return to his own time. But when he accidentally awakens an army of the undead, he’s forced to lead a ragtag medieval army into battle against the evil forces.
