Backrooms

Backrooms is a sci-fi horror film based on the viral YouTube series of the same name by Kane Parsons, produced by the powerhouse indie studio A24.

At an ordinary, discount furniture store, a strange doorway appears in the basement. An employee, Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor), investigates and discovers a sprawling, seemingly infinite, maze of sickly yellow, fluorescent-lit rooms. He quickly becomes obsessed with the place, venturing deeper and deeper into "the Backrooms".

Upon telling his therapist, Dr. Mary Kline (Renate Reinsve), about his discovery, she is hesitant to accept that what he saw was actually real. Attempting to prove its existence, Clark sets out to document footage of the Backrooms.
