Emma Stone's ‘Bugonia’ Transfixes Venice, Draws Lengthy Standing Ovation - The Hollywood Reporter

Yorgos Lanthimos, the iconic director behind The Favourite, Poor Things, and Kinds of Kindness, reunites with Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone once more for this one-of-a-kind, sci-fi black comedy.

Stone stars as Michelle Fuller, the high-powered CEO of a major company, who is kidnapped by two conspiracy obsessed young men, (Killers of the Flower Moon's Jesse Plemmons and newcomer Aidan Delbis), who are convinced that she's an alien intent on destroying the earth.
