Synopsis
Hot Rod was the film debut for Andy Samberg, hot from Saturday Night Live and the comedy team The Lonely Island. A box office failure upon release, it's become a cult classic of the DVD era with an all-star cast including Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Isla Fisher and Ian McShane. Rod Kimble (Samberg) wants to be a great stuntman even though he can’t grow a moustache. Between fighting his step-dad and training with his buddies, Rod plans a death-defying stunt that will make him famous. The rare American movie to feature John Farnham’s ‘You’re The Voice’ on the soundtrack. Hosted by Simon Miraudo.
