Synopsis
Set in the noughties, BRB follows camera wielding 15 year old Sam (Autumn Best) who has a hand disability and is self conscious, but talks to people about her favourite TV show in online chatrooms. Meanwhile her older sister Dylan (Zoe Colletti) has a difficult relationship with her parents and has just split-up from her musician boyfriend (Richard David). When the teenagers parents take a trip out of town and Dylan discovers Sam has been talking to a boy online, the siblings embark on a cross country roadtrip. A coming-of-age-road-movie, BRB captures the nature of sibling relationships, family, and the difficulty of being an outsider with a rare authenticity and genuine naturalism.
