Synopsis

In this captivating, suspenseful drama directed by Polo Menárguez (The Plan) and co-written by Fernando León de Aranoa (The Good Boss), based on the 1924 novella Fräulein Else by Arthur Schnitzler, internationally acclaimed actress Ester Expósito (Elite) stars as a young woman whose life changes drastically over the course of the night.
Elsa (Expósito) is a gifted cello student, who is excited to attend the exclusive, high-society birthday celebration of Idoia, her best friend. It is a night of hormone-fuelled teenage elites and their haughty parents hosted at a decadent luxury hotel.
An unexpected phone call from her mother means that Elsa's takes a dark turn. Her wealthy family is suddenly now in ruins and only Ignacio, Idoia's father, can help them, setting off a chain of events that will test Elsa's values, dignity and determine her fate. So, Elsa is confronted with a dilemma, does she become a bargaining chip to save her family, or will she save herself?
