Synopsis
In his newest, highly anticipated black comedy, Oscar-winning writer-director Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The Banshees of Inisherin) trades the remote Irish island and small-town Missouri of his last two films for the tropical shores of Easter Island.
Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris (John Malkovich) and Lee (Sam Rockwell) are dispatched from Santiago to Easter Island by their bureau chief, MJ (Steve Buscemi). Amongst the Island's iconic statues, and as the longtime partners wrestle with their dark pasts and present conspiracies, Chris's newfound bond with a pair of rebellious students (Mariana di Girolamo and Ailín Salas) threatens to send everyone’s trip to this remote paradise sideways.

Reviews
Arguably Martin McDonagh's best movie and features a magnificent turn from John Malkovich.
While Rockwell seems to do his best work with McDonagh, and this is no exception, flowers go to Malkovich who delivers arguably his finest screen performance of the 21st century.
Another bitingly funny, bracingly tough feature with top performances.
A bittersweet hangout film about lonely, crumpled men facing up to mortality, dealing with the consequences of violence and chewing the fat to outlandishly funny effect.
